Reading Time: 2 minutes

When we established TwoDads UK back in 2016 we did it to raise awareness of same sex parenting, and to help destigmatise and educate people better about Surrogacy. Fast forward four years and it’s becoming a recognised brand on social media and in the Surrogacy community and is seen by some as the go to organisation for Gay Men seeking our Surrogacy support, advise and information. We’ve helped advise on new government policy, we’ve been consulted with in relation to the Law Reform and the UK Fertility Industry regulator and more recently we have challenged the NHS on the reasons why the majority of Trusts haven’t adopted the guidance issued originally back in 2018 in relation to the treatment of Surrogates and Intended Parents. The results of the later project will change the policy landscape within the NHS when it comes to future proofing equality, and in the process educates Midwifes and maternity staff across the UK. We even managed to win Surrogacy Professional of the Year in 2019, at the Surrogacy Awards part of National Surrogacy Week.

Our support to Intended Parents is now increasing, and we’re delighted that we are now partners to the incredible award winning team at Herts & Essex Fertility Centre in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, the most successful fertility clinic in the East of England, founded on 13 July 1989 by Mr. Michael Ah-Moye, CEO, and Consultant Gynaecologist celebrated 30 years of successful IVF and fertility treatment last July.

We’ve had a relationship with this clinic, particularly Debbie Evans, Director of Nursing and Clinical Services for almost 3 years, and we’re now excited to be supporting their popular and growing Surrogacy service led by Sarah Templeman – their ‘Surrogacy Queen’! This new partnership will assist the clinic by supporting their Intended Parents with varying levels of support, and also assisting the clinic with LGBTQ social media content and marketing services taking the brand into new realms of marketing and creative. The clinic are also the ‘UK Clinic Sponsor’ at this years The Modern Family Show, the only UK LGBTQ family building event taking place in London on the 19th September.

“We are delighted to announce our new partnership with TwoDads UK and very excited about the prospect of helping more people build families through surrogacy. Mike and Wes have such a wonderful surrogacy story and their passion, intension and drive to help other intended parents learn more about the fertility and surrogacy journey by sharing their experience, insights and wisdom, is truly inspirational.” Comments Debbie Evans from Herts & Essex Fertility Centre.
