New Brand Ambassador Pura

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Part of the work we get asked to do is to sometimes partner with particular Brands. However they need to connect to us. So many ‘Influencers’ promote brands that just aren’t genuine to their life, and clog our feeds with disingenuous statements and staged photographs, and that was something we never wanted to be.

Working with the right brand is what builds your credibility, also limiting those brands too is also important. I learnt this the hard way. When I was setting up TwoDads UK in 2017 I was desperate for followers, likes and shares of our page, and in doing all that I lost focus in what we were trying to achieve, and the message we were sending. I was accepting all sorts of products from Tea through to clothing. That’s why, our latest partnership with Pura, feels right.

Eco Brand

Pura are the latest Eco-Baby brand to hit the market, established by parents Guy and Abi from Cheshire, and they’re taking it by storm. With a strong brand ambassador team like Gemma Atkinson and new Dad Ashley Banjo plus a bunch of other social media content creators and influencers – My Pura is converting us all to go eco – for the sake of our kids.

Did you know that 90% of Wipes in the UK contain plastic?

The UK uses 11 billion wipes per year, which take over 100 years to biodegrade! Shocking right?

Pura’s wipes are plastic free, and even come in a ‘Fine to Flush’ too, check them out here.

We’ve also switched Nappy brand too, which I never thought I would if I’m being totally honest. But when I heard that traditional disposable nappies can take 500 years to decompose, it was a no brainer. The Pura nappy is 0% Chlorine Free, no nasty perfumes or chemicals, and the inner core is sustainable plant fibres. And super absorbent too, which was my fear as Duke still feeds through the night. The nappy keeps Duke dry, up to 12 hours actually. And as he has super sensitive skin, and a bunch of allergies these nappies are endorsed by Allergy UK and are Vegan safe. They are also produced using Green Energy too.

We were also asked to write a Blog for International Men’s Day, focusing on Men’s Mental Health – check it out here.

So check them out, and this weekend is Cyber Weekend, grab yourself 25% off using code PURA25.
